Founded by Dr. Valerie Ruby Ingram, RIG is a community-centered consulting, training, and workforce development organization committed to helping organizations strengthen their capacity, develop people, and create meaningful solutions for the communities they serve.
Rooted in public health, community engagement, education, leadership, and organizational development, RIG understands that sustainable change begins with relationships. We bring organizations and communities together to identify needs, build stronger systems, develop their workforce, and turn vision into measurable action.
Our work includes consulting and strategic planning, workforce development and training, community engagement, program development, organizational capacity building, facilitation, health equity initiatives, and partnership development.

Through the developing RIG Community Health Worker Training Academy, we are creating a community-based pathway designed to prepare Community Health Workers with the knowledge, practical skills, relationships, and real-world experience needed to serve Connecticut communities.
